Morgan Hunter is a graduating senior at Tougaloo College majoring in Health and Physical Education. She chose Health & Physical Education to combine her love for teaching with her passion for sports. Morgan loves learning, being of service to others, and making a positive impact on society. Her goal as an educator is to lead high-achieving classrooms and develop culturally responsive teaching. Morgan’s career aspirations are to become a principal and open a successful fitness facility.

Morgan Hunter, had the opportunity to teach 12th grade students English at Washington Park High School during the summer 2022 session.
The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) partnered Morgan with Uncommon Schools (Newark, NJ) through their K-12 Education Fellowship, a 10 week program.
The first 5 weeks were focused on professional development training while the last 5 weeks are consisting of teaching in the summer academy and being observed by the director and mentors. Morgan also received a Middle School teaching offer at Uncommon School (Newark, NJ) for the 2023-24 school term.
