What Is Alpha Lambda Delta?
Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society is a national organization that invites students who have obtained at least a 3.5 GPA and are considered the top 20% of their graduating class during their first year or term of higher education to join. ALD promotes long-term academic success and has about 270 chapters at different campuses throughout the United States.
Each chapter is made up of a council of student leaders with varying positions that contribute to the running of the honor society. Members participate in various community service opportunities planned out by the council leaders, or E-board. ALD chapters for each campus put together events to bond with fellow members, as well as contribute to volunteer and charity work through their own creative outlets and planning.
