Office of Accessibility Services

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Office of Accessibility Services (OAS) is to facilitate reasonable accommodations for students, ensuring compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA). The OAS is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every student has equitable access to all educational programs, both in the classroom and online, as well as university life.

Assessment & Documentation: Review documentation and assess individual student needs for personalized accommodations.
Student Meetings: One-on-one consultations to understand specific accommodation requirements.
Faculty Coordination: Work with faculty to ensure timely and effective implementation of accommodations.
Legal Compliance: Follow all legal and university guidelines to ensure proper support services.

If you are a scholar who requires scholarly accommodations due to a disability, medical condition, or other conditions, we encourage you to take advantage of our accommodation services. By self-identifying, you will receive essential support to flourish scholastically and take full advantage of our services, programs, and activities.

Individual & Group Counseling: Free, confidential counseling sessions tailored to individual needs.
