From the Ground Up: Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Tougaloo College and Millsaps College are hosting the annual celebration of life for Civil Rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. during the highly anticipated prayer breakfast inside of Tougaloo’s Kroger Gymnasium on Monday, January 20, 2020, beginning at 8 AM. The theme of this year's event is "From the Ground Up: Inequity, Bias, Privilege, Structure, Death." Pamela Junior, Director of Two Mississippi Museums, will serve as guest speaker and student leaders from both colleges will participate in the program.
This event is free and open to the public.
