152nd Founder's Week

Each October, Tougaloo College commemorates its founding with a campus-wide celebration. This year’s theme, “The Revitalization of the Black Church and Social Justice,” is significant because it highlights the 120th Anniversary of our historic Woodworth Chapel that was central to the Mississippi Civil Rights Movement and changing the landscape of this state.

It also centers our continued thoughts and conversations and directs our actions toward advancing social justice. So please join us as we recognize this historic commitment and celebrate our legacy with a full week of festivities.
