Gathering Your Input Matters

Gathering valuable input from the Tougaloo community is key to the search and will be used to develop the leadership profile and aid in the candidate selection process. All faculty, staff, and alumni were encouraged to participate in virtual listening sessions, and a student session will be scheduled once students return to campus.

• The agenda for the next President: What are the most important opportunities and the greatest challenges your next president will face, and how will you judge that individual’s success?
• The description of the ideal candidate: What experiences, credentials, skills, and personal qualities do you seek in the next President that will address the challenges and opportunities Tougaloo faces?
• The main reasons a qualified person would pursue this role: Why should someone want to be President at this moment and time at Tougaloo?
