Your Enrollment Checklist
Follow these essential steps in order to complete your enrollment and prepare for enrollment at Tougaloo College. Each step is designed to ensure you're fully prepared for the semester.
Commit to Attend
Secure your spot at Tougaloo College
Confirm your intention to enroll at Tougaloo College by submitting your commitment form. This crucial first step reserves your place in the incoming class and allows us to begin preparing for your arrival.
Schedule Course Advising
Meet with your academic advisor
Schedule your course advising appointment based on the first letter of your last name. Your advisor will help you select the right courses for your degree program and ensure you're on track for academic success.
Complete Your FAFSA
Apply for federal financial aid
Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine your eligibility for grants, loans, and work-study programs. This is essential for making your education affordable.
Complete Medical Records
Submit required health documentation
All students must complete and submit the Student Medical Record Form. This ensures we have important health information and helps us provide appropriate care if needed.
Apply for Housing
Secure your on-campus residence
If you plan to live on campus, complete your housing application through your Loo account. Living on campus enhances your college experience and helps you build lasting friendships.
Tech Setup Instructions
After committing to attend, you'll receive a "New Student Technology Reference" email. Follow these steps:
- Set up your Loo account using the provided credentials
- Set up your Microsoft Apps account
- Log into "The Loo" with your username and password
- Click on "Campus Life"
- Click on "Residence Life Application"
- Complete the application and pay the $100 housing fee

Register for Enrollment Events
Attend orientation and welcome activities
All confirmed students are encouraged to attend enrollment events including Open House and New Student Orientation. These events help you transition smoothly to college life and connect with your fellow Eagles. Please be sure to contact the Office of Admissions if there are any changes to your mailing or email address.

Arrange Payment for Tuition
Set up payment for your education costs
Before attending classes, you must cover or make payment arrangements for tuition and fees. The Bursar's Office can help you set up payment plans and answer billing questions.
