Welcome to Warren Hall
Warren Hall stands as the vibrant heart of Tougaloo College, serving as the primary student center where campus life comes alive. Built in 1962 and named in honor of Harold C. Warren, who served as president of Tougaloo College from 1947-1955, this brick and masonry building has been the cornerstone of student social life and community engagement for over six decades.
This essential facility houses the cafeteria, Office of Student Engagement, Co-Op, mailroom, and numerous recreational facilities. Warren Hall is where students gather to eat, socialize, engage in campus activities, and build the lasting friendships that define the Tougaloo experience. It serves as the central hub for both formal events and informal gatherings that bring the campus community together.

A Legacy of Leadership and Community
For generations, Warren Hall has been the campus crossroads—where students gather, organize, and celebrate. It has evolved with Tougaloo's needs while staying true to its purpose as the heart of student life.
A Living Student Center
From its beginnings as a thoughtfully planned student hub—with dining, recreation, and essential services under one roof—Warren Hall quickly became a place where community takes shape. Through eras of change and progress, it has offered room for connection, conversation, and leadership.
