JACKSON, Miss. — It is homecoming and coronation season across the metro.

One of the newest campus queens has a connection to 16 WAPT.

The 87th Miss Tougaloo is Arielle Brumfield.

The coronation was held Sunday night on the college's campus.

Arielle is a double major in history and journalism.

Arielle is special to 16 WAPT because she is our Emma Bowen Foundation intern.

Between serving as campus queen and our intern, she is also involved in several organizations at Tougaloo.
