These have been challenging times for the City of Jackson and surrounding communities dealing with the recent water crisis. As referenced in the August 8th communique to the Board of Trustees, college community, and alumni, Tougaloo is not experiencing water issues because we own and operate water wells that serve the entire campus. While our residential students are not affected, we have impacted commuter students, faculty, and staff. We are grateful for the overwhelming support received from our partners and the community to support those impacted.
Mister and Miss Tougaloo and our Student Government Association are leading an effort to support our neighboring institutions. We humbly request your continued prayers and support.
