Tougaloo College officially opened the 2025–2026 academic year with its annual Presidential Convocation, a time-honored tradition that brings together students, faculty, alumni, and supporters in celebration of scholarship, legacy, and new beginnings. The community gathered for the Light of Learning Ceremony, where first-year students were formally welcomed into the academic family and recognized for their commitment to excellence.
