Welcome to Kincheloe Hall

Kincheloe Science Hall is a two-story brick and concrete academic building that anchors the sciences at Tougaloo. It houses classes in biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics and computer science, alongside a modern instructional/research laboratories. Named for Dr. Samuel C. Kincheloe, College president from 1956–1960.

A Brief History & Legacy

Erected in 1959 and substantially renovated in 1999, Kincheloe Hall was purpose-built for the sciences with classrooms, computer science facilities, and laboratories for instruction and research. The building honors Dr. Samuel C. Kincheloe, who led Tougaloo College from 1956 to 1960.
