SLAM Workshops

Science, Language Arts, and Mathematics (SLAM) Workshops

The Science, Language Arts, and Mathematics (SLAM) Program is a summer enrichment program for high school students that is designed to help enhance students’ science, language arts, mathematics, and reading skills. SLAM also teaches students about health disparities and provides them with opportunities to explore careers in the health sciences.

The SLAM courses are taught on an advanced level, which requires students to think critically and prepares them for the rigor of college coursework. SLAM is an intensive and highly competitive program for high-achieving high school students.
