What does the CISGC do to support international students?

  • Assist prospective international students with applications, admissions and enrollment services information.
  • Assist international students to have a successful academic experience at Tougaloo College
  • Assist enrolled international students with arrival, adjustment, and immigration advisory services and programs which support their acculturation and integration.

International Student Orientation

The Center for International Studies and Global Change provides orientation for all new international students and scholars at Tougaloo College including exchange students and visiting faculty/scholars.

At orientation, you will learn about important resources available to you as a Tougaloo student, have an opportunity to meet other local and international students, and discover Jackson!

New international students are also required to attend the New Student Orientation from Sunday, August 13, 2017- Wednesday, August 16, 2017.

Students admitted for Fall/Spring 2016-2017 and fall 2017 will attend orientation in August 2017.
