Currently housing male students, A.A. A.A. Branch Hall was built in 1972 as a shorter version of Renner Hall, designed to provide quality housing for students while maintaining architectural harmony with the campus. In 1995, the hall was officially named in honor of Dean A.A. Branch, recognizing his significant contributions to Tougaloo College and his dedication to student success and academic excellence.
