Tougaloo College in collaboration with USA Today, proudly presents "Freedom Now: How Institutions of Power Fuel and Stall Change." The conversation on civil rights and fight against systemic racism virtual event will feature performances and discussion from different leaders, organizations, advocates, and activists, including Tougaloo alumnus and NAACP president Derrick Johnson and Dr. Daphne Chamberlain, associate professor of history at Tougaloo College. The event is scheduled on Wednesday, September 29th, at 7:00 p.m. EST
