Vice President of the Division of Institutional Advancement

Dr. Bolden-Stamps is an accomplished higher education development professional with nearly 40 years of successful leadership and senior-level management experience. She is a proven leader with a track record of success as a fundraiser. Her energy, enthusiasm, and expertise will facilitate collaboration among internal and external stakeholders to increase philanthropic support to support Tougaloo’s mission and its commitment to providing a transformative education experience for the talented students we serve.

Dr. Bolden Stamps holds a doctoral and master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Counseling Education, respectively, from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, MS. She completed postdoctoral studies in Critical Thinking and Student Achievement at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, PA, and earned a Certificate of Advanced Study in The Psychology of Learning at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA.

In this role, Dr. Bolden-Stamps will provide leadership and strategic focus for the Offices of Annual Giving, Advancement Communications and Donor Relations, Advancement Services, Alumni Relations, Corporate and Foundation Relations, Development, Digital Marketing, Marketing and Communications, and the operational elements of the institutional advancement office to strengthen and expand our fundraising.
