Fitness Center

The Fitness Center is open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and Saturday between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Membership fees are at an affordable rate. An application is required for enrollment. To enroll or learn more about our fitness activities or health education programs, please contact us! Fitness activities include aerobics, water exercise, and weight-lifting activities. Our health education programs include diabetes, cancer, heart disease, stress management, and HIV/AIDS workshops, as well as Super Senior Citizens’ Day and the Senior Citizens’ Prom.

Join health conscious men and women who are improving their lifestyles physically, nutritionally, and socially.

Line Dance:
This class is for enrichment, fun and exercise. Those with two left feet are welcome! Participants in the class will learn a wide variety of dances with various music styles and get a work out the same time. This class is for all ages. ($10/month)

Zumba :
Zumba combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system. With classes and instructors worldwide, anyone can Join the Party! (Free for Tougaloo College students, staff and faculty. $5/per class for all others)

Cross Train U:
Cross-Train U focus on improving fitness by exercising all part of the body. The aim is to reduce the risk of injury and improve overall fitness levels. (Free for Tougaloo College students, staff and faculty. $5/per class for all others)

Designed to firm your muscles and concentrate on areas like the legs, bottom, and stomach. Many of these exercises are carried out on a floor mat.
