Welcome to the Tougaloo College National Transportation Security Center of Excellence (NTSCOE) website. Our program’s location is only one of the seven centers of excellence comprising NTSCOE, which seeks to develop new technologies and tools while advancing methods to defend and protect our surface ground transportation system. In addition, the NTSCOE also seeks to increase the resilience of the nation’s surface transportation infrastructure, education and training methods as they relate to the overall security of our nation.

Our main focus here at the Tougaloo College NTSCOE center is the success of the students. The development of a Bachelor’s Degree in Homeland Security is a prime example of one of the ways we seek to provide students a significant advantage in this ever expanding field. As homeland security becomes a booming area in today’s society, students seeking to advance in this field deserve the best tools in order to succeed. This website is one of those tools that we have developed for the main purpose of keeping the students, as well as the faculty and staff and other constituents, abreast of facts and important information relating to homeland security and programs alike.
