Legacy Society

THE LEGACY SOCIETY OF TOUGALOO COLLEGE
To Honor those who Include Tougaloo College in their Financial and Estate Planning

The Legacy Society of Tougaloo College was founded in 2004, to honor alumni and friends who make provisions for Tougaloo in their wills or through another type of planned gift. A bequest may take the form of a will, a charitable remainder trust, a charitable gift annuity, or life insurance.

The Legacy Society of Tougaloo College recognizes those who make planned gifts to Tougaloo College with a certificate of induction into the Society, a lapel pin, and as applicable, reunion class gift credit. While the society is relatively new, legacy or planned giving to Tougaloo College is not.

Creative gift-planning can be one of life’s most rewarding experiences. Thoughtful estate planning today will help provide for the future for yourself, your family and heirs, and for the charitable causes in which you believe, like Tougaloo College.

Benefits of membership:

  • Regular communication with the College concerning topics of interest including estate planning, and
  • Assurance of being a good steward.

If you have planned an estate or life income gift to benefit Tougaloo College, we would be honored to add you to the roll of the Legacy Society of Tougaloo College. Please contact Dr. Amelia E. Hunter, Assistant Vice President for Institutional Advancement, at 601-977-7841, or you may write us at the address below.
