Physics Summer Program

- Are you afraid of Physics but want to explore it in a summer camp?
- Are you looking for an enriching academic experience in summer?
- Are you a rising junior/senior or a recent High School graduate?
If you answered 'YES' to any of these questions, Tougaloo College presents a Pre-Engineering Physics & Astronomy Summer Program to you.
Structure of the Program:
- The program is FREE and supported by the Natural Science Foundationís HBCU- UP.
- The program will cover i) Introduction to Physics, Physics Applications, and Research in Physics; ii) Mechanics, iii) Atomic Molecular and Thermal Physics; iv) Electricity & Magnetism, v) Geometrical Optics, vi) Introduction to Astronomy and Astrophysics, vii) Robotics.
- Students will be provided with light breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
- Students will visit to LIGO or NASA Stennis Space Center.
- Rising junior/senior or High School graduate with a 2.5 or higher GPA can apply.
- Application deadline April 15th, 2013. Early application encouraged.
