CSAR/OSS

The Center for Student Advising and Retention/One-Stop Services (CSAR/OSS) was established in 1994 with a grant from the Southern Education Foundation PEW Charitable Trust to oversee the planning, implementation and management of academic advising, student retention, and other related services.

CSAR/OSS accepts referrals, relays concerns of faculty about student performance, alerts students regarding their academic standing, monitors corrective plans of action and attendance in the supplemental learning centers and supervises peer helper activities. Personnel work closely with faculty to ensure students' retention and success.
